Agora Tribune

Every Saturday, different groups protest at Seoul City Hall—environmental groups, teachers' unions, conservative groups, progressive groups, all kinds of people with different political views. I photographed these gatherings because they reminded me of ancient Greek democracy, where people came together to debate and express their opinions. Seeing all these different voices in one place helped me understand that democracy means making space for everyone, even when people disagree.
