Jong Myo

Jongmyo is a 600-year-old Confucian shrine right in the middle of downtown Seoul. It's a UNESCO World Heritage site. I photographed it because I thought it was interesting how this ancient sacred space exists in the middle of a modern city—like a piece of the past sitting in the present.
